Splitting a PDF means pulling out a specific range of pages and saving them as a separate file. Got a 50-page report but only need pages 10 to 20? Split them out. Want to send just one chapter of a book? Split it. It is faster than printing and scanning, and you keep everything digital and sharp.
When Is Splitting a PDF Useful?
Share Specific Sections: Extract just the relevant pages from a large report or manual to send to someone.
Separate Invoices: A multi-invoice PDF can be split into individual invoice files for each client.
Isolate Chapters: Extract individual chapters from an e-book or course material PDF.
Reduce File Size: Split out the pages you need and discard the rest to get a smaller, lighter file.
Before OCR: Split out a difficult section of a scanned document to run OCR on it separately.

Quick Notes
Q: What format should I use for the page range? A: Enter two numbers separated by a dash, like 1-5 or 10-20. The tool will extract all pages within that range.
Q: Can I extract just one page? A: Yes. Enter the same number twice, like 5-5, to extract a single page.
Q: Is my PDF sent to any server? A: No. The split happens entirely in your browser. Your file does not leave your device.
